The National Association of Software and Services Companies, (NASSCOM), announced that Krishnan Ramanujam has been appointed as the industry body’s Chairperson for 2022-22-23. He is the President of Enterprise Growth Group at Tata Consultancy Services. Krishnan succeeds Rekha M. Menon as chairperson and senior managing director of Accenture in India. He was chairperson of NASSCOM from 2021-22. Anant Maheshwari (President, Microsoft India) was also appointed vice-chairperson by NASSCOM for the period 2022-223. The new NASSCOM leadership will be joined by Debjani Ghosh, president of NASSCOM, to lead NASSCOM in achieving its diverse set of priorities and achieving the industry’s 2025 vision. According to an official statement, the main priorities of the new NASSCOM leadership will be to align and re-calibrate the technology industry’s course to maximize growth from technology potential and technology impact.
